1.4841 is a heat resistant steel which has its origins in 1.4828, but which is much more stable at high temperatures due to its higher chromium and nickel content to oxidation. This steel is characterized by its good mechanical properties at high temperatures and is therefore particularly suitable where great value is placed on good mechanical properties at high temperatures. This quality is also characterized by an excellent chemical resistance at temperatures up to 1,100 ° C.
